Times of the School Day

Below is the usual layout of the school day at Lewis Street. Please see the individual class pages for their daily timetables.

School start time:  8:40am

School finish time:  3:15pm

Themed or class assemblies are:

Phase 1 - daily 10 min reflections in class

Phase 2 - Monday at 9:05am

Phase 3 - Tuesday at 9:05am 

Singing Practice is at 9:05am on Wednesdays.

Celebration assembles are:

Years 1, 2 and 3 - Thursdays at 9:05am

Years 4, 5 and 6 - Fridays at 9:05am (Phase 2 and 3)

Whole School Reflection is celebrated in all our assemblies and in classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Children and families welcomed onto the playground

Doors opened, children make way to their classroms

8:45am - 9am

All children must be in their classrooms by 8:45am for registration.

9:00am

Gates are closed

10:30am

Break time for Years 1, 2 and 3 and The Leaf

Breaktime for Years 4

11:05am

Break time for Years 5 and 6 and The Leaf

Lunch:

Phase 1, our youngest children go for lunch from 11:15am, and play outside afterwards

Lunch:

Phase 2 start lunch from 12:00noon; Years 4 starts at 12:15pm; Year 5 start at 12:30pm; Year 6 start at 12:45pm

School Dinners are priced at £2.10 per day. Using the Evolve ordering system, you and your child must order your child's meals at the start of the week.
